Bakewell, Derbeyshire and the Monsal Trail

The only photos of Matlock I am including are of the alms house and the butchers. There are lots of beautiful buildings here but too much traffic so every picture would have 20 cars in it.

I got an early bus to Bakewell and with the help of tourist info, found the path to join the Monsal Trail. The Monsal Trail is made of a disused railroad line. I took a shortcut to join it through fields of cows and along stone walls. I walked about 2 1/2 miles of trail and then back into the town of Bakewell. Bakewell is much prettier than Matlock where I am staying. Bakewell is famous for a tart called the Bakewell pudding so I took some pictures of them.
