Epernay

We had two days in Epernay in the champagne region. The drive into town was crazy so we just parked at the hotel and took cabs for the rest of the visit. It is a totally cute town, only 20,000 people and many many champagne producers. It's a cloudy rainy climate but not cold, and miles and miles of champagne vineyards. We toured two caves, one on a little train and one just walking. The architecture is distinctive and really charming and their are lots of flowers. Today we are off to Beaune in the Burgundy region.
