Beaune

Beaune is an incredibly pretty town. We arrived here in the afternoon and all the maps and notes we took on the route plus using the rental car's navigation system paid off. And now we can just stay put for three nights. We had a glass of Bourgogne wine to celebrate my birthday and then just walked to get a feel for the town. Dinner was at the Chevalier Noir and was delicious although the waitress lacked  warmth and spoke trop vite. 

Friday was spent just walking and walking.
