Provence

We arrived in Lourmarin, France on Monday without getting lost, although we must have gone through 30 roundabouts. A nice lady, Grethe, was at the apartment to get us. It's a cute place; the owners will arrive soon after we leave. Apparently we are the last renters of the year.

Lourmarin is very very old and really lovely. We pretty much walked everywhere in just an hour or so. The weather was perfect and we chose an outside seating place for dinner. The waitress said the pizzas were for "une personne" but were huge..

The next day we walked to Lourmarin Chateau. It was rescued in the 1920s from being demolished and is wonderful. Dinner was typical Provence soup, pistou.
